Kids often say ‘yummy!’ when presented with a meal. But what are those meals like? Are they healthy enough? And do we adults know what healthy food means? After all, there are a lot of misconceptions about healthy food.

Yammi is a fun, educational board game with an emphasis on fun! The game has different levels and by playing it, kids (and parents) are stimulated to eat healthier and to exercise more.

The game departs from basic principles on healthy food and from recent scientific insights related to childhood development.

Yammi was developed by PeterFrank, an innovative game developer, and the University of Ghent, which provided the correct scientific and didactic input via via Food2Know and the department of Development, Personality and Social Psychology.
